1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how CodeKarma Technologies Private Limited ("CodeKarma", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at codekarma.ai and related pages (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

This Cookie Policy covers only cookies and similar technologies that we set on the Site. It does not cover cookies, identifiers or telemetry that our runtime observability and developer productivity platform (the "Platform") may collect within a customer's own environment or on a customer's own properties. Where the Platform processes such data, the customer is generally the controller (or equivalent) and that processing is governed by our customer agreement, any Data Processing Addendum and the customer's own privacy and cookie notices, not by this Cookie Policy.

We set non-essential cookies only where you have accepted them, as described in Section 5 (Consent and your choices). Where you reject them, or where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they are not loaded at all.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. References to "cookies" in this Cookie Policy include similar technologies that serve comparable purposes, including local storage, a mechanism that stores information in your browser.

Cookies may be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted. They may be "first-party" cookies set by us, or "third-party" cookies set by service providers acting on our behalf or by other organizations.

3. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into the categories below. The specific cookies in each category are listed in Section 4 (Cookies we use).

• 3.1 Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the Site to function and to remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off through our consent tool.
• 3.2 Analytics and performance cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the Site so that we can measure and improve its performance. We use Google Analytics for this purpose; the specific cookies and provider are identified in Section 4 (Cookies we use).
• 3.3 Business-intelligence cookies and similar technologies. These help us identify the organization associated with a visit to the Site, so that we can understand which businesses are interested in our products. We use Apollo for this purpose, as identified in Section 4 (Cookies we use). These technologies are not used to identify you personally.
• 3.4 Advertising and targeting cookies. We do not use advertising or targeting cookies on the Site, and we do not use retargeting or ad-measurement technologies. If we introduce them, we will update this Cookie Policy and our consent tool, and obtain any consent required by applicable law, before doing so.

Analytics and performance cookies and business-intelligence technologies are both non-essential. Our consent tool currently lets you accept or reject all non-essential cookies together.

4. Cookies we use

The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies used on the Site, together with their provider, category, purpose and duration. Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are set only after you have accepted them. Some items below are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, and are listed here because they serve the same purpose.

Google Analytics retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months from your last visit; the 14-month period restarts each time your browser returns to the Site. Aggregated reports derived from that data are not subject to these periods.

5. Consent and your choices

You can control non-essential cookies in the following ways. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our consent tool because the Site relies on them.

• 5.1 Cookie banner. When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner asks whether you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies are set only after you accept. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and if you reject, the analytics and business-intelligence technologies described in Section 4 (Cookies we use) are not loaded.
• 5.2 Changing your choice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the Site footer, which reopens the banner for you to easily change your choice.
• 5.3 Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and let you clear your browser's local storage. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.
• 5.4 US state privacy choices. We do not use advertising or targeting cookies, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. The business-intelligence technologies described in Section 4 (Cookies we use) disclose online identifiers and technical data, such as an IP address, to the relevant provider, and that provider determines its own use of that data under its own privacy notice. Where applicable law treats a disclosure of this kind as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, we will honor the opt-out rights that apply to it. Section 6 (Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control) explains how we treat opt-out preference signals, and our Privacy Policy, Section 6 (How we share personal data), sets out further detail.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

6.1 Do Not Track. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not currently respond to them.

6.2 Global Privacy Control. Where your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a choice to reject non-essential cookies. In that case the analytics and business-intelligence technologies described in Section 4 (Cookies we use) are not loaded, and we do not ask you to make the choice again through the banner. We recognize other opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law. You can enable GPC in browsers and browser extensions that support it; information is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. We will post the updated Cookie Policy on the Site and update the effective date above.
